Call for Conference Sponsors – Redefining Engagement
Once more it’s time for commercial organisations to get involved in supporting our annual conference. Will one of them be yours?
Each year the Mercian Collaboration offers library supplies, publishers and related commercial enterprises the opportunity to directly support our conference event. The Collaboration’s annual conference, now in its 6th year, provides an excellent opportunity to promote organisations and their services to academic library staff across the Midlands. This year’s conference, once again hosted as an online event (September 6-7th), will be open to attendance by staff based across the UK university sector.
This year themed around the timely topic of Redefining Engagement, the conference will be hosted across two days, in a collaboration between our Conference Planning Group and the conference team at Cranfield University.
Since 2018, we’ve offered the opportunity for suppliers, publishers and other organisations to support our conference events, while raising their own profile within our communities. This year we’re offering three levels of support, scaled decreasingly in cost from title sponsor, through attending delegate to branding representation.
- Platinum (£1,250): Title sponsor, delegate place(s) enhanced programme representation and marketing insert.
- Gold (£750): Delegate place(s), programme representation and marketing insert.
- Silver (£400): Programme representation and marketing insert.
About the Conference
Every year our conference brings together over 100 academic library staff from the 23 Midland based higher education institutions comprising the Collaboration, and since 2021, has been open to the whole of the UK. The event provides an opportunity for delegates to network, exchange experiences, while gaining updates on recent developments. As an intentionally inclusive event, delegates and speakers are drawn from all levels of seniority and speciality, providing a potent and engaging blend of interests. From directors, to senior managers and budget holders, through to front-line staff: all will be represented and in attendance at our event!
